British television host Nana Akua Amotemaa-Appiah, who was born in July 1971, works for GB News. Akua was born in Newcastle upon Tyne to immigrants from Ghana. At age 11, her family relocated to the United States. She attended college to study finance and business. Akua previously held positions with Kiss 100, Capital Radio, the radio station for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital[3], and BBC Three Counties Radio.
